With so many different whitening options, how do you know what is legit and what is commercial? Zoom is the forefront in teeth whitening advertising and has become somewhat of the brand – like Coke with soft drinks. Zoom was one of the first to come out with the light that supposedly enhanced whitening results.
But, does the light actually do anything?
Can too much whitening harm tooth enamel?
There has always been some disagreement in the dental world about this question. Some past studies showed that high-concentration hydrogen peroxide-based products can cause increased porosity leading to demineralization and calcium loss, but results have always been inconclusive.
